Solar power… in hand!
Samaiden Group Bhd secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract worth RM98.15 million to develop a 39MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic system at 6 identified sites in Johor.
In Bursa's filing on Thursday, the firm had stated that the Samaiden Sdn Bhd unit had received a contract award letter from Ramatex Textiles Industrial Sdn Bhd.
Ramatex manufactures and distributes various types of clothing for the local and overseas markets.
Samaiden said the work will begin tentatively on its project by the third quarter of 2022.
It said the project is expected to contribute positively to its future income over the duration of the project.
Samaiden traded at RM1.15 with 294,200 shares.
