 Damn, what's the sign?

Twitter

A Moscow court has fined Twitter 3 million Rubles equivalent to US $ 40,920 for their failure to delete content deemed illegal by Russia.

In response, Twitter denied the matter and stated that they did not violate Russian law regarding the content displayed on their application.

In addition to Twiter, GitHub, software development websites purchased by Microsoft were also fined 1 million Rubles.

Twitter is not the first social media application to be sued in Russia over their content where previously Facebook was also sued for the same reason.

TikTok

TikTok is facing a lawsuit filed by a moderator of its content for the content of the app being exposed to child pornography, rape, beheading and mutilation of animals.

Candie Fraizer, TikTok's content moderator, has filed a lawsuit following the showing of videos involving cannibalism, head -breaking, school shootings, suicide and building jumps that she had to see every day.

He also added that his job as a moderator was very stressful as he had to watch hundreds of videos in 12 hours with 1 hour of break time and 2 15 -minute breaks.

In the filing, Fraizer noted TikTok failed to implement guidelines such as providing psychological support and limiting the transition to 4 hours until he suffered a stress disorder due to trauma.

TikTok has not yet commented on the matter.

This is a great blow to TikTok who was crowned the King of Social Media 2021.
