Internet Computer (ICP) Wants To Present Smart Contracts To Bitcoin Network Through "Chain Key"

The Internet Computer (ICP) crypto project developed by the Dfinity Foundation is rumored to have completed the roadmap for 2022.

It is understood that ICP will launch integration with the Bitcin and Ethereum networks, as early as the end of this year.

Integration with Bitcoin

Launched as part of the Dfinity project - “Chromium Satoshi Release” for the first quarter (Q1) 2022.

This integration brings smart contracts into Bitcoin using cryptography, "Chain Key".

The presence of the Chain Key removes the ‘bridge’ that is easy to attack by hackers.

The smart contract function also simplifies the ownership, transmission, and receipt of Bitcoin without the presence of private keys.

Integration with Ethereum

It is expected to be launched in the third quarter (Q3) 2022 through the "Vanadium Vitalik Release" project.

Dfinity has not yet given an explanation regarding this project.

For the record, Dfinity has already launched the ‘Canisters’ smart contract in December 2021, allowing the remaining ICP tokens to be stored in the Internet Computer.

Not only that, on January 28, the series saw a decentralized exchange port (DEX), Sonic including two more DEX that also functioned well.

Anyway, the key developers of ICP are confident of the presence of Canisters which is capable of being the focus once the integration between BTC and ETH takes place.

Since hitting a monthly high, $ 38 on January 5, the ICP price has recorded a tragic decline to the $ 18.54 level at the time of writing this article.

However for a record all-time high (ATH), $ 750.73 on May 10, ICP needs a jump of at least 98% to redeem its previous performance.
