Cypriot researchers have discovered a new coronavirus as a result of a combination of the Delta variant and the Omicron variant.
According to a science professor at the University of Cyprus, Leondios Kostrikis, the new variant has Omicron -like genetics in the delta genome and is called ‘deltacron’.
