GameStop Collaborates With Microsoft For NFT Games?

thecekodok

GameStop (GME) stock prices rose again but not because Wall Street investors were overwhelmed by small investors.

There is speculation that the retailer will partner with Microsoft to introduce non-fungible token (NFT) games.

GME shares jumped around 13% and closed at $ 115.60.

Of late, GME shares have performed relatively well following the announcement of a partnership with Immutable X to establish the NFT market platform.

As a result, GameStop will also launch a $ 100 million grant program in IMX token units for NFT content creators and technology developers.

This development was followed by rumors of integration between the two entities through several known platforms: Reddit and Twitter.

This collaboration led to two speculations: 1/ integration through existing games, and 2/ production of new NFTs focused on games.

This claim is further reinforced by several screenshots shared through the account of one of the Twitter users:

Best graphic I've seen about all this nothingness so passing it on. Probably nothing though… #GameStop #gme #Microsoft #must #immutableX #loopring #Apple #lrc pic.twitter.com/9vCZn33O5a

However, so far there has been no official announcement from GameStop and Microsoft.

Not sure how far this truth is, let's wait!

Probably nothing.
