U.S. President Joe Biden has ordered all of his citizens still living in Ukraine to leave the country as soon as possible following the growing threat from the Russian military.
Citing an NBC News report, Biden urged his people to leave immediately. This is because, they are not dealing with a terrorist organization but dealing with one of the largest armies in the world.
"It's a very different situation, and things can go 'crazy' very quickly," Biden said.
In a separate report on Thursday, the State Department issued an advisory warning that they would not be able to help U.S. citizens should Moscow invade Ukraine.
Russia has previously repeatedly denied any plans to invade Ukraine despite having amassed more than 100,000 of its troops along the country’s border.
Yet in the latest development, Russia is seen to have begun large-scale military exercises with neighboring Belarus.
Russia and Ukraine announced on Thursday that they failed to reach an agreement after a day of negotiations with French and German officials aimed at ending the crisis between the two sides.
