Finally a sweet story from Top Glove.
Top Glove Corp Bhd has been included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2022 by S&P Global.
The company reported in a statement on Feb. 2. where it was one of 53 industry movers in the 2022 Yearbook.
Yearbook is the most comprehensive publication in the world that provides in -depth analysis of corporate sustainability.
It is based on companies across various industries assessed in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessments (CSA) which are the basis for the S&P Global ESG score.
The ESG score is the basis for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).
According to Top Glove, companies in the top 15% of every industry that participated in the CSA last year and this year achieved an increase in the S&P Global ESG Score of at least 5%.
Top Glove was named among the top 10% in the Healthcare Equipment Supplies industry category worldwide in the CSA on the score date of November 12, 2021 compared to the previous year at the top 19%.
Top Glove managing director Datuk Lee Kim Meow expressed his pride by saying the matter was an important event in Top Glove's history in navigating the healthcare manufacturing industry in terms of ESG.
