A few months after launching tipping in Bitcoin (BTC) and then continuing with the launch of non-fungible token (NFT) function as PFP, Twitter announced the availability of tipping in Ethereum (ETH).
The announcement was made yesterday. This means Twitter users are offered with two options, either receive a tip in BTC or ETH.
For the record, the introduction of tipping through the presence of ‘Tips’ on Twitter began in September 2020.
Giving Tips can be used in conjunction with third party services such as Venmo and Cash App.
In addition, users can also donate tips directly by getting their wallet address in the main view of the profile of the individual or account you are interested in donating.
Has this feature arrived in Malaysia?
Yes! In fact, since the launch in September, Malaysian Twitter users can activate Tips.
It's easy!
Go to the 'Profile' page.
Press 'Edit Profile'.
At the bottom once, press 'Tips'
In the ‘Manage’ section, make sure ‘Allow Tips’ is enabled.
Don’t forget to enter the address of your crypto wallet: Bitcoin and Ethereum.
