Russia is IKEA’s 10th largest market with retail sales of 1.6 billion Euros or 4% of total retail sales and its closure will affect more than 15,000 employees.
As for Nike, they have disabled the company's official website in Russia and closed all its physical stores in Russia in protest of Vladimir Putin's attack.
The company, which is well known for its footwear products, also announced that its foundation will donate $ 1 million to the United Nations Children’s Fund and
International Rescue Committee as a sign of support to the affected victims.
However, several other giants such as McDonald’s Corp and Pepsi Co are still silent.
