In the latest development, the Dogecoin Foundation is reportedly working to realize offline transactions using RadioDoge which is combined with Elon Musk's Starlink satellite network, SpaceX.
It is understood the project is the responsibility of product head, Timothy Stebbing and lead engineer, Michi Lumin.
But investors should know that to make the project a success, it will take an uncertain period of time as one of the important aspects emphasized is connecting RadioDoge to the Dogecoin testnet through Starlink technology support.
Here are the travel details of the initial phase of this project:
The Dogecoin Foundation is focused on establishing a ‘regional hub’ for RadioDoge and making it a testing ground for newly introduced technologies.
The project developer will ensure the first transaction takes place in Libdogecoin, and across 150 miles from Colorado to a regional hub.
Libdogecoin - a programming space for the production of Dogecoin projects
The hub will send the received transactions to the Dogecoin testnet via the Starlink satellite network.
This initial phase is only 0.1% of the total project. If it is successful, it is not impossible that the use of Dogecoin, especially among those who have difficulty accessing the internet can be realized.
At the same time, the foundation believes the application of DOGE in economic development can further help these coins become a priority in the global exchange of goods and services.
Musk’s presence as a staunch supporter of DOGE makes everything impossible.
Starting with Tesla, SpaceX, and Musk’s interactions with McDonald’s in January to some extent had a positive impact on the acceptance of these coins in the crypto community.
At the time of writing, DOGE posted an increase of over 1% in 24 hours, trading at $ 0.14 per unit.
