The hacking on Ronin Network that took place last week caused the non-fungible token (NFT) -based game update to be postponed to a new date.

The Axie Infinity: Origin update date is supposed to happen on March 31st.

But the hacking that caused the network a $ 625 million loss forced its date to be changed to a week later which is April 7, 2022.

The developer of this game, Sky Mavis hopes that with the time given, the Ronin Network can investigate the issue thoroughly, thus supporting the launch of Origin.

It is understood that as of March 31, 2022, the Ronin Network team has replaced all Sky Mavis verifiers with new ones in the hope that network security can be further strengthened.

Meanwhile today, Binance has announced production for AXS assets and Small Love Potion (SLP) has been reactivated.

Yet the issuance of Wrapped Ether (WETH) assets on the Ethereum network, and the WETH token conversion function to ETH are still not allowed.

For the record, these production restrictions implemented by Binance have been in place since the first day of notification of the Ronin Network hacking.

The incident became history because the hacking went beyond the Poly Network case which only saw losses worth RM2.5 billion.

At the time of writing, the AXS posted a trading value of $ 65.90 with a decline of almost 1% in 24 hours.

While Ronin Network native tokens; RON recorded a 3.5% increase with a current value of $ 1.84 per unit.
