Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned foreign countries that they will receive a ‘lightning -fast’ response if they try to intervene in the Ukraine war.
Speaking at a meeting in Saint Petersburg, Putin reiterated that all the goals of Russian special military operations in Ukraine will be implemented.
He vowed to respond swiftly to the unacceptable threat to Russia.
Referring to his ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons, Putin said Russia has all the tools that no one can be proud of, and they will use them if necessary.
It is well known that Western countries have increased arms supply aid to Kyiv, and the United States has also promised to ensure Ukraine will defeat Russia.
Meanwhile in other developments the European Commission has accused Russia of blackmailing the bloc after Moscow stopped gas exports to Poland and Bulgaria on Wednesday.
President Ursula von der Leyen said the action showed that Russia could not be trusted as a supplier.
The Kremlin said Russia had to take the move because Europe refused to pay for gas in rubles previously ordered by Putin in a bid to support the currency, which is faltering due to Western sanctions.
