Lens Protocol, Twitter & Facebook Competitors Finally Launched!

Do you remember the indictment of Aave's CEO, Stani Kulechov, who claimed to be the interim CEO of Twitter at the end of April?

Because of that, his account was closed immediately.

Most recently, Kulechov and the Aave team have launched a platform known as Lens Protocol on Polygon for decentralized social media development.

BREAKING: Web3 social media is here on Polygon main-net with @LensProtocol From now on you own your profile, the content you create and your social network. Claim your Lens handle https://t.co/mhNkK9Jv2w

Since the first announcement of this project in early February, a total of 50 applications have been developed in the Lens Protocol, including: Lenster, Lens Booster, SpamDAO, GoldenCircle, PeerStream, Swapify, Social Link, Lensfrens, Phaver, Iris, Clipto, Zilly, and others.

It can be said that Lens Protocol will 'give birth' to competitors Twitter and Facebook, again they offer unique characteristics, namely followers, communities, and user content are always connected to their profiles that are present in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT).

Lens Protocol has moved forward with blockchain-based technology that can validate identities, prevent spam, and offer an open system.

Indirectly, the Lens Protocol fulfills every whim of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey; and Tesla founder Elon Musk who wants a control-free social media platform.

To this day, Twitter's purchase is still unclear.

It is understood Musk wants the number of fake and spam accounts to be detailed. If the record is more than 5% of users, unlike Twitter charges, there is potential for this purchase to be cancelled.

Whatever it is, the movements of the world's trillionaires are hard to predict.
