The major cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase informed will change the user experience on its platform and will discontinue the Coinbase Pro service gradually.
On the other hand, the company launched a redesigned Wallet mobile app that makes it easier for users to access and use decentralized apps (dapps) and also allows support for Solana.
Coinbase states that they want all its services under the same ‘roof’. On that basis, Coinbase will gradually stop allowing users to access Coinbase Pro’s professional trading platform. As such, customers can use, borrow and save via dapp wallets and Coinbase Cards on major platforms.
The exchange stated that they will add ‘advance trade’ in the Coinbase mobile application along with other improvements to make ‘advance trade’ accessible to every customer ”in the coming weeks.

The crypto exchange also announced the wallet change via their official blog post on Wednesday (June 22, 2022). According to Coinbase, the new Wallet mobile app will be available on June 22 and more users will access the app in the coming weeks.
The new update comes with a new dapp browser, dark mode look and price chart. Users can also explore decentralized financial protocols (DeFi), play-to-earn (P2E) games, and in turn offer functionality that allows transitions between dapps on different networks.
Coinbase also added support for the Solana network, stating:
“With support for sending, receiving and storing SOL and SPL tokens, you no longer need multiple wallet applications for web3 activities ″.
The revamped app also aims to expand access for billions of people around the world with 25 supporting languages.
