CoinDCX Twitter Account Hacked, Offers Fake 100 Million XRP Bonus!

 The official Twitter social media account of CoinDCX, an Indian crypto exchange was hacked and later used the account to promote fake XRP giveaways.


The string, users are asked to refrain from clicking on any links on received fraudulent messages.


Explained, the hacker left a phishing message saying CoinDCX will increase the supply of XRP as well as giving away 100,000,000 XRP giveaways to support the community.



Hackers not only changed the account name, display picture and other details to match Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse's Twitter account, but also retweeted his account's tweet to get readers to click on the link.


According to CoinDCX, its team is working to regain control of the @CoinDCX Twitter account and is warning users not to click on links or messages received from the Twitter handle.


He added that CoinDCX will share the latest information about the situation happening soon.


On different sources, the SEC vs Ripple issue reached a final decision as both parties filed a motion for summary judgment and Brad Garlinghouse is confident that it will win the court case because the SEC failed to prove XRP is a bad investment.
