Although the non-fungible token (NFT) sales market has been shrinking lately, there are still investors who take the opportunity to buy and sell these digital works of art.

Recently, the famous NFT CryptoPunks #2924 was successfully sold for $4.5 million worth of Ethereum (ETH).

Although the price fell lower during the sale, this marks CryptoPunks fourth largest sale price of all time at 3,300 ETH.

It is understood that the last time CryptoPunk #2924 was sold was in November 2020 for 150 ETH which was worth $71,400 at that time.

And it is one of 24 apes in the entire CryptoPunks collection that includes 10,000 unique NFT profile pictures and is the rarest NFT by Rarity Tools.

Meanwhile, the identity of the buyer of the NFT is still unclear but it was sold by an NFT collector with a well-known pseudonym.

For the record, CryptoPunks is one of the most valuable NFT brands because the collection of ETH sets the core template of the project and even its sales revenue so far is 42.4 billion.

The project was also launched by Larva Labs in 2017 and sold to Yuga Labs, creator of Bored Apes, which allowed owners to use Punk's imagery for art and publishing projects.
