After Russian President Vladimir Putin's announcement that he mobilized the people to 'fight' in Ukraine, there are reports that many are trying to leave the country.

On Wednesday, Putin announced a partial mobilization of the army, in which 300,000 people have been called up to serve in the war in Ukraine.

But since then, it has been reported that many Russians are trying to get out of the country.

Sky News reported prices for some airline tickets from Moscow soared above $5,000 for a one-way flight to the nearest foreign location, with many sold out for days to come.

Traffic has also increased at border crossings between Russia and Finland and Georgia, but the Finnish government is considering ways to reduce the influx.

Meanwhile, the BBC reported that on the border with Georgia, a line of vehicles reportedly formed about 5km at the Upper Lars checkpoint.

As additional knowledge, Georgia is one of the few neighboring countries that can be entered in Russia without the need to apply for a visa.

However, Russia has denied reports of the exodus and said they were deliberately exaggerated.

He added that 10,000 people have volunteered to fight even though their call-up letters have not yet arrived.
