'Ouch, there are a lot of things to do in 2023!'
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) issued a warning about a new wave of Covid-19 in the European zone.
Through a joint statement by WHO Director, Hans Kluge and ECDC Director, Anrea Ammon that there is an increase in the number of cases involving Covid in the region.
It is clear that one of them is wrong by saying that although the situation seems to be improving, the war with Covid-19 is not yet over.
He added that the WHO confirmed that there was an increase in cases in Europe which indicated the possibility of a new wave to follow.
As of October 2, WHO indicators confirmed an 8% increase in Covid cases in Europe and issued a warning to people with health problems to get checked in hospital.
Also stated by the two agencies is the statistics that saw millions of people in the European region have not yet received the Covid-19 vaccine and called on them to take it.
