'These rumors may be speculation but they could be true.'
The United States Department of Defense (US) or better known as The Pentagon will reportedly channel funds to ensure SpaceX's Starlink satellite continues to operate in Ukraine.
According to a source from Politico news agency, the US Department of Defense's Ukraine security assistance initiative established to support the poor country in its fight against Russia will be the main contributor of funds.
In general, Elon Musk's rocket company has launched a Starlink satellite that has been providing free internet service to Ukrainians since the Russian invasion in February 2022.
However, Musk moved to withdraw the satellite after the company had to pay damages behind free internet service in Ukraine before changing his mind over the weekend.
Musk said that his satellites would continue to operate in Ukraine and maintain free internet service to Ukrainians even if his company had to pay damages.
As a result, Musk is said to have asked the Pentagon to help him continue to offer Starlink's free internet service.
Returning to the original news, a Pentagon spokesman did not give any statement other than to say not to speculate about future aid announcements before they happen.
In the meantime, sources from the Financial Times reported that the European Union (EU) plans to channel funds to Starlink.
