Co-founder of the Ethereum (ETH) wallet, Vitalik Buterin disposed of a large amount of ETH last weekend shortly after the crypto exchange FTX experienced a massive hacking incident.

For the record, Vitalik converted 3,000 ETH to $4 million USDC and continued his transactions on Uniswap V3 on November 12 through three transactions, where the price of ETH traded in the $1,261 zone.

The removal by Vitalik is said to attract attention following his actions when the crypto market suffered a severe fall due to widespread hacking and not forgetting the recent FTX crisis.

It was clarified that the hacker not only drained more than $600 million in various transactions on FTX to convert to DAI from Tether, but also took out Solana's stETH, BNB, LINK, AVAX and MATIC.

According to Vitalik's opinion, the MtGox event witnessed a lackluster performance following its refusal to try to improve its ecosystem just like the case of Luna and FTX.

The streak, the crypto market suffered a devastating fall due to the FTX crisis that wiped out more than $100 billion in just a few days with a total market capitalization of $854 billion.

As of this writing, ETH price is down over 18% over the past 7 days and is currently hovering in the $1,258 zone over the past 24 hours.
