Bored Ape Yacht Club's (BAYC) non-fungible token (NFT) collection was successfully sold for 800 Ethereum (ETH) equivalent to $1 million even though the crypto and NFT markets are experiencing a tragic fall since the beginning of this year.

It was clarified that the collection of NFT BAYC #232 was sold by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Web3 software, Deepak Thapliydal to an individual named Keung.

In fact, the BAYC is one of the rarest collections, ranking 324th out of 10,000 NFTs due to less than 0.5% having a golden feather image.

It is recorded that Thapliydal is a famous NFT collector who purchased $23.7 million (8,000 ETH) worth of CryptoPunks NFTs and now he intends to sell some of his rare NFT collection.

Generally, BAYC's last reported sale was on October 1, reaching the $1 million mark, which is a jump of more than 13% from its original price.

In context, the creation of BAYC by Yuga Labs which launched in April 2021 is one of the most famous NFT projects that has generated over $2.5 billion in trading volume.

Not only that, BAYC also succeeded in Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) and Otherside to attract more celebrities or top brands to join its community.

In the meantime, the floor price of the NFT is now worth only $69,000 (60 ETH) compared to the previous 152 ETH, but investors are still buying it because they believe in BTC's future capabilities.
