Goodbye Twitter, Elon Musk Ready to Retire?

Billionaire Elon Musk once again came up with a 'crazy idea' when he asked Twitter users to decide his future as the social media platform's chief executive officer.

In a survey launched early Monday morning, Musk asked if he should step down as the company's chief, adding that he would abide by the decision.

Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.

Even so, Musk seems to still be looking for a replacement based on a response given to a Twitter user who said a possible change at the helm.

The survey will close at around 6pm (Malaysian time), where so far about 10 million votes have been collected from the poll.

Since he took over the company in October, Musk has faced criticism for his policy changes.

In fact, the survey was also made a few hours after Twitter's latest update that prohibits users from promoting links from other social media platforms.

The move is seen to affect accounts that have links or contain usernames from Facebook, Instagram, Matodon, Truth Social, Tribel, Nostr and Post platforms.
