'This may be Elon Musk's answer for abandoning those who have been fighting for a long time and paying too much attention to the new ones.'

After more than a year topping the first position in the 'World's Richest Man' chart, Elon Musk finally fell to second place behind Bernard Arnault.

The moment was recorded on Forbes's The Real-Tome Billionaire List on December 13, 2022 (Tuesday) with Musk's wealth falling to $181.3 billion compared to Arnault's $186.2 billion.

Accompanying Musk's fall were shares of Tesla Inc, which closed down less than 6% during yesterday's Wall Street trading session.

In addition, Musk is also the billionaire with the largest daily loss value today with a loss of $7.4 billion while Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates are among the billionaires with the largest daily gain value.

This is the 2nd time this month that Musk's wealth has fallen and has taken him down from the top spot.

On December 8, Arnault briefly managed to surpass Musk's position before the chief executive managed to take first place a few minutes later.

However, Musk's fans need not worry because in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index he is still in first place with a wealth value of $168 billion while Arnault follows closely behind at $167 billion.

In general, Musk's 'golden hole' that is Tesla is currently being driven by the $44 billion purchase of Twitter this year that has received a lot of attention from the billionaire.

Some investors even said that Musk focused too much on Twitter compared to Tesla, resulting in the electric car (EV) company's investors not being satisfied.
