American social media personality Logan Paul is threatening to sue a YouTuber named Stephen Fondeisen, better known as Coffeezilla, after defaming his CryptoZoo non-fungible token (NFT) project as a scam.
According to Coffeezilla's charges, CryptoZoo was supposed to be a blockchain game that allowed investors to make profits, but a large amount of their funds allegedly went missing.
Responding to the allegation, Paul described it as an accusation without solid evidence and he is of the view that Coffeezill's motive for acting like this is simply to defame his name to his millions of viewers.
He explained further, CryptoZoo is a game that allows investors to buy NFT eggs through ZOO tokens and then become hybrid animals that can be traded to generate profit.
Despite this, Coffeezilla claims that the NFT is an image from Adobe that has been photoshopped and not its own handiwork.
However, Paul denied the charges and insisted that he will continue to develop CryptoZoo until the project achieves success.
In the meantime, Paul and Coffeezilla have each called to discuss the matter, but so far have had no update.
