Following creator Yuga Labs' announcement to launch skill-based web game 'Dookey Dash', it has fueled an increase in sales of Bored Ape Yacht Club's (BAYC) non-fungible token (NFT) collection and related projects.
Dookey Dash is an "endless runner" game that can be played in a web browser by watching cartoon illustrations that require players to pick up items without dropping them.
However, Dookey Dash can only be played by NFT BAYC and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) owners who receive the NFT Sewer Pass, Yuga Labs commented last Wednesday.
He added that owners of the two collections who are interested in participating in the Dookey Dash game can obtain the NFT pass for free from January 17 to February 8 and sell the NFT again if they no longer need it.
In addition, some selected BAYC collection owners will also be given bonuses for their game scores.
Although Dookey Dash is still not described in more detail, its official website says that players will be rewarded based on their performance in the game.
Please note that NFT MAYC sales volume jumped by 124% at $4.2 million in the last 24 hours while BAYC jumped around 171% at $3.5 million.
Meanwhile, NFT Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) which will play a key role in the game saw a nearly 171% increase at $3.3 million.
