The TikTok social media personality who goes by the moniker Money_talk_tok has told his over 50,000 followers that he is selling his house for $500,000 on February 24, 2022 to invest in the Ripple (XRP) cryptocurrency.
Through analysis at the time, the social media personality predicted that the crypto market was still in a volatile state but he acted in such a way to buck the trend.
Explained in more detail, he who concluded that XRP has reached its lowest point after carrying out sentiment analysis has invested in the digital asset by $500,000 due to the belief that the price will soar.
After investing in XRP while the price was at $0.69, the TikTok user who until now holds the digital asset has revealed that he did not lose his money as his holdings are still unsold.
There is no denying that his losses are very significant, but he who is really optimistic about crypto views the nature of digital assets including XRP is actually unpredictable and has its own risks.
Even so, the situation could prove that some crypto die-hards are willing to take drastic measures like selling their homes to buy digital assets.
As of this writing, the price of XRP has jumped by 1.75% to $0.48 in the last 24 hours with a market cap of $25 billion and is up around 5.52% over the last week.
