"Just fight for a moment and then they will make peace."

Avid cryptocurrency investor and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Galaxy Digital, Mike Novogratz and leading economist Steve Hanke are reportedly at odds with each other over Bitcoin (BTC).

Hanke in his Twitter account has not only called BTC a 'stupid game' but also defined it as a digital asset that is vulnerable to fraud, lack of stability and distrust.

In response, Novogratz said that BTC has outperformed other digital assets in a short period of time and that it is actually safer than financial institutions like JP Morgan or Google.

Novogratz has also previously predicted that the price of BTC will surpass $500,000 by 2030, but he is still happy if the digital asset can reach $30,000 before the end of this year.

He is reportedly bullish on BTC despite its 70% price plunge in 12 months, where the digital asset traded at $68,000 in November 2021 but slipped to $16,000 by the end of 2022.

Despite that, the price of BTC has now managed to rise again above the $28,000 level although still recording a decrease of around 2.22% in the last 24 hours.

However, investors still believe that BTC has the potential to soar in the near future as the price of the digital asset recovers to $28,000 in just a few months.

In the meantime it should be noted that there are some parties who will agree with Novogratz's views on BTC and some may be on Hanke's side such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States (US).
