"Whoever is a die-hard fan of this movie can't wait to buy NFT when it's released."
This time, the legendary toymaker Mattel is in the process of releasing a new edition of the Hot Wheels Garage series of non-fungible tokens (NFT) inspired by their blockbuster series on May 22 next week.
In addition to being placed at Flow, the NFT Hot Wheels x Fast & Furious collection featuring cars from the movie namely Brian O'Conner's 1969 Camero, Dominic Toretto's 1970 Dodge Charger and Suki's Honda S2000 from the Fast 2 Furious movie will be sold at a price of $20 per unit.
Please note that Mattel has been participating in the NFT market since November 2022 as part of its goal to transform toys into digital collectibles that can bring excitement to many people.
Just like the recently launched Boss Beauties x Barbie collection, the project will also offer the chance to acquire a physical die-cast version of Suki's car, but holders must collect a complete set that can bridge the gap between the real and digital worlds.
In addition, Mattel signed an agreement with OnChain Studios to release Cryptoys, which is a Star Wars-based NFT also powered by Flow in conjunction with unofficially celebrating the film's holiday on May 4.
Flow not only launched the NFT Fast & Furious collection but also several other leading digital collections such as NFL All Day, Dapper Labs' UFC Strike NFT platform and NBA Top Shot.
For the record, Mattel who announced the release of the NFT How Wheels Series 4 collection last December featured new automakers combined with vintage car models including rare new types.
