"Hoskinson is confident, what if his words don't come true later."

While in a "Surprise AMA" interview on YouTube, Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) founder Charles Hoskinson is confident that the legal battle between Ripple (XRP) and the United States (US) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will end in June 2023.

Contextually, the AMA equivalent of “Ask Me Anything” is a social community-oriented live interview show with special guests, where the format originated on Reddit but Hoskinson conducted the interview on a YouTube live stream.

XRP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brad Garlinghouse and investors strongly believe the case will find success following the opening of the William Hinman document is one of the signs of a major victory for the digital asset.

Through a transcript of a 2018 speech by Hinman, the former SEC director argued that crypto is a commodity and the chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) agreed with that statement.

After a long legal battle with the SEC claiming XRP as a security, the price of the digital asset remains volatile and investors are unsure what will happen next.

Despite this, the crypto market still hopes that XRP will grow and develop again through network activities including roadmap development.

As of this writing, XRP price has plunged by 3.44% to $0.50 in the last 24 hours with a market cap of $26 billion but is still up around 11.84% over the last week.
