"Because you can't look down on people, who knows when he will be successful."

Gerardo Moran, an El Salvadoran teenager who shared his journey after successfully completing a Bitcoin (BTC) diploma program called Mi Primer BTC has returned to his former high school to educate teachers about the digital asset.

The 18-year-old revealed that Mi Primer BTC supported by El Salvador's Ministry of Education has enabled him to leave his previous life of earning only six dollars a day as a construction worker.

Ulas Moran, who has worked in the construction and tourism sectors since he was 11 years old, said that he still can't imagine how Salvadorans can work so hard for so little reward.

Following his school's call for students interested in taking the BTC diploma course, Moran wasted no time in applying for the course and got excellent results.

Hi, my name is Gerardo Moran.

I'm an 18 year old Salvadorian who just came out of high school, where I had the chance to graduate from @MyfirstBitcoin_ #BitcoinDiploma.

Now I'm a teacher myself👨‍🏫

Currently, Moran not only leads BTC education in his hometown but also trains and teaches BTC diplomas to a group of eight senior professors at his former high school, Antonio J. Alfaro.

Pleased to announce that Mi Primer BTC has collected more than one such digital asset in the form of donations from generous BTC education supporters around the world.

From Poland to Canada, people all over the world are flocking to send satoshi through the Lightning Network to support the growth of El Salvador's BTC diploma program that has been gaining attention lately.

According to El Salvador's director of education Gilberto Motto in August 2022, the government will focus on educating its citizens, especially teenagers, about BTC following them as the country's next generation driver.
