Like many other cryptocurrency firms, Ripple (XRP) also has important dates and events on November 8 to 9, 2023 that may push the digital asset higher than its current price.
A prominent member of the community called XRP Captain who has over 57,000 followers on the X platform on Thursday yesterday posted a screenshot of the Ripple Swell event that managed to attract the attention of his community members.
This is because XRP Captain has written a caption like "Save The Date #XRP Could Make History On This Date", so here it can be seen that he expects the price to climb due to the event.
Ripple Swell is a two-day event held by Ripple every two years to help gather customers, partners including prospects but please note that only those invited can attend.
In 2020 to 2021, the event has been held virtually but this time it is back to being an in-person conference to be held in Dubai, where 40 representatives from countries will be present including 80 speakers as well as over 600 attendees.
Among the topics covered at the event were the future of crypto, regulation, payments, compliance and Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
Not only that, Ripple Swell will also cover various topics from its customers, team members and industry thought leaders to reveal how financial institutions and businesses can benefit from crypto technologies including blockchain.
However, there is no indication whether the event will actually have any impact on XRP or not, but the price could see a positive reaction if Ripple makes an important announcement such as an IPO.
As of this writing, XRP price has plunged by 0.53% to $0.55 in the last 24 hours with a market cap of $29 billion and a further 6.24 gain over the past week.
