The streak, the tax software firm CoinLedger which compiled a list of the most popular personalities in the crypto market based on their social media followers has listed the 30 most influential people in the digital asset sector in 2023.
The most popular personality in the first crypto market is Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the world's largest digital asset exchange Binance who not only has 8.7 million followers on the X social media platform but also 472 thousand on Instagram.
The second most famous personality in the crypto space is definitely the computer programmer and co-founder of Ethereum (ETH) Vitalik Buterin who has 2.7 million followers on Instagram and 5 million on X.
Then, Jack Dorsey who is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of X has been in the third position where he owns the financial services firm Block and 6.4 million followers on X.
After Dorsey is a staunch supporter of Bitcoin (BTC) and MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor who got 3.1 million followers on X then Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood who took fifth place.
In addition, technology investor Chamath Palihapitiya is in sixth place followed by Mark Andreesen who is the co-founder of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, Digital Currency Group (DCG) founder Barry Silbert and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong.
While Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the former CEO of FTX who has gone bankrupt has taken tenth place with 1.9 million followers on X and Instagram.
