Wow, Malaysia Will Receive RM30 Billion Investment From Japan!

 Recently, the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz announced that Japan is interested in investing as much as RM30 billion as a result of the support of companies from that country this year.


He also said that the private sector of both countries has high confidence in investment this time even though the global economy is seen to be relatively slow.


Tengku Zafrul is also very confident that this investment can be utilized in the best way by the ministry and hopes that trade growth for Malaysia-Japan remains optimistic.



Japan is Malaysia's fourth largest trading partner for eight consecutive years from 2015 to 2022.


He also said that Japan had invested RM91.89 billion for their 2,778 projects in Malaysia last June and had created 337,758 job opportunities.


Based on this MoU, the result of this investment will further increase business communication and exports for both countries.
