"Hmm why does Mark Cuban suddenly like this project?"
Mark Cuban, United States (US) billionaire and Bitcoin (BTC) investor in a spontaneous Ask Me Anything (AMA) session that has 8.8 million followers revealed that he has invested in Polygon (MATIC) and Injective (INJ).
Because Cuban touches on a variety of topics including cryptocurrencies, he answered "yes" shortly after a user asked if Cuban's NBA Team, the Dallas Mavericks, still accepts Dogecoin (DOGE).
Depicting the biggest memecoin, Cuban admitted that those who invested in DOGE when the Dallas Mavericks started accepting it will be rewarded now.
Speaking candidly when asked about Dogwifhat (WIF), Cuban was unlike many other crypto enthusiasts as he seemed unfazed by the surge in interest in the Solana (SOL) memecoin.
Then the discussion turned to non-fungible tokens (NFTs) where Cuban emphasized that NFTs are primarily digital assets that should be purchased for use or collection even if they are speculative in nature.
There's no denying Cuban has invested in DeFi, but he seems less than impressed with its current state.
Cuban, who has experience in both traditional and crypto finance, also expressed his skepticism about the tokenization of real-world assets as it could be a tough sell.
