Former US President Donald Trump in his speech on Thursday blamed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for starting the country's war with Russia.

He said that Trump might radically shift US policy towards Ukraine if he wins the election on November 5.

He often criticized Zelensky during the campaign and called him 'The Greatest Salesman on Earth' for having obtained billions of dollars in military aid from the United States since the war broke out in 2022.

Trump has also criticized the Ukrainian leader for failing to find peace with Russia and he has suggested Ukraine may have to cede some of its land to Russia in order to make a peace deal.

Zelensky bears full responsibility for failing to end the war and causing Ukraine's territorial sovereignty to continue to be attacked.

He commented again, his criticism does not mean that he will not help Ukraine and feel sad for the civilians involved. Zelensky should not have let the war start and lose.

Previously, Zelensky presented his war plan to Donald Trump at a meeting in New York in September and described the relationship between the two as good.

However, Donald Trump still maintains that he will stop military aid to Ukraine if he succeeds in defeating Kamala Harris at the next meeting.

He also repeatedly said that he was able to end the war conflict before taking office in January.
