Is Europe Really the Power, or Just an Israeli Puppet?

On Monday, Israel and the European Union (EU) reportedly returned to the negotiating table for the first time since 2022 on the same topic of peace.

But, behind the diplomatic smiles, a question arises – Is the EU shaping Israeli policy, or is Israel setting the conditions?

According to a Reuters report, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has firmly stated that relations with Europe “cannot be held hostage” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

However, the EU, led by Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas, has voiced deep concerns about Gaza, insisting that displaced Palestinians must be allowed to return.

The EU is facing pressure to reassess Israel’s human rights record as it remains tied to economic and political interests.

Some members are pushing for tougher conditions on Israel, while others fear losing a key ally in the Middle East.

Ironically, the EU rebukes, Israel smiles, and the attacks continue.

With the Palestinian death toll exceeding 48,000, does the EU really have any power, or is it just a pawn in Israel's game?
