UK Wants to ‘Numb’ Trump Investors, Offers Itself as the World’s ‘Safe Heaven’

UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has now come up with a bold move as he launches a global mission to lure green energy investors to Britain as investors start to flee the economic turmoil triggered by US (US) tariffs.

Starmer will reportedly lead the Energy Summit in London tomorrow, with a mission to highlight the UK as a global clean energy leader while satirizing his political rivals who are still skeptical about net zero.

At the same time, the UK government will continue to convince investors that Britain is more stable than the US and other countries currently under attack by President Trump’s tariffs.

Cabinet ministers are busy sending ‘love letters’ to green energy investors, offering the UK as an “investment haven” with the ‘Build it in Britain’ campaign.

The biggest lure?

£300 million of government funding for the renewable energy supply chain including a giant 38-mile carbon capture project at HyNet North West.

In an increasingly chaotic world, Starmer wants to make the UK not just an investment haven, but a symbol of stability.

And if US investors start to turn away? Trump may need more than tariffs to lure them back.
