Elon Musk has officially severed his close relationship with Donald Trump.
Not leaving just like that, Musk instead left a beautiful criticism of his 'ex-bff' regarding the president's $3.8 trillion spending bill, "One Big Beautiful Bill".
Musk insisted that the president's actions have indirectly canceled the cost-cutting efforts led by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that came from his own hard work.
Even more poignant, he claimed that the DOGE team was made a scapegoat, while the White House vented its anger on the government efficiency unit, while approving tax cuts for billionaires and at the same time cutting aid to the poor.
After being willing to 'swipe' a $200 million card to help Trump win again and be given the title of 'First Buddy', it now seems that their 'bromance' is ending in a 'ghosting' phase.
With Tesla's stock plummeting, his office a site of riots, and 250,000 civil servants being fired in the name of 'efficiency', Musk has finally realized that too much 'politicking' can backfire.
Trump?
As usual, responding to Elon Musk's statement in a 'cool' tone on Wednesday, he admitted he would meet with Musk to renegotiate.
He said Musk was only "not satisfied with some aspects" but "excited about other aspects".
