From Ally to Enemy, Israel's Ongoing Attacks on Gaza Draw Global Condemnation

Israel now seems to have lost touch with reality. Countries that were once close allies are now starting to distance themselves, fed up with what are seen as increasingly extreme and inhumane actions, now taking action starting May 20.

Pressured with the greatest diplomatic force as Britain, France and Canada condemned the country's "extreme" actions in Gaza, while the EU officially launched a review of trade relations over possible human rights violations.

In a joint statement, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney warned that concrete action would be taken if Israel did not stop the attacks and aid blockade on Gaza — while hinting at recognizing a Palestinian state in the future.

Meanwhile, the EU began activating Article 2 of the EU-Israel trade agreement to review whether Israel's actions violate human rights commitments.

The tensions have escalated since Israel tightened its blockade on Gaza, with critics accusing the Netanyahu government of using starvation as a weapon of war.

The UN says at least 500 aid trucks are needed every day to provide lifeline supplies to the beleaguered people of Gaza, but only 100 trucks are allowed in.

With international pressure mounting, an EU diplomat has warned that the situation could worsen to the point where Israel's privilege in Europe could end in the blink of an eye.

With international pressure mounting and old allies turning their backs, Israel is now on the brink of losing its influence and privilege on the global stage.

If these warnings continue to be heeded, not only will its image be tarnished, but the country could face total isolation — no longer as a feared power, but as a regime the world rejects even worse than Russia!

Perhaps this is the "punishment" for Gaza because in Israeli logic, even babies and children are considered Hamas and, unfortunately, the world once agreed.
