The Malaysian Government MADANI is realising the MADANI Employee Card initiative service to one million union members from more than 100 companies with a 30 percent discount.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the agenda when delivering a message in conjunction with the National Level Workers' Day 2025 celebration at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil yesterday.
Anwar stated that the MADANI Employee Card plays a role in helping workers enjoy discounts on various facilities.
Anwar also said that the proposal involved is a sign of appreciation for workers who work hard to carry out their duties, responsibilities and trust in the work organization.
Among the companies involved in the idea are Jakel, AEON, Mydin, Marrybrown, OldTown White Coffee, SOCAR, Bateriku and Genting.
He added that detailed information regarding the MADANI Employee Card will be announced in a press conference in the near future.
The celebration ceremony was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Human Resources Minister Steven Sim, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and several cabinet ministers.
