Petros Sarawak Bhd (Petros) has partnered with Chinese company Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group Ltd to develop a Kuching Low Carbon Hub (KLCH).
The project is being implemented to attract investors who support Sarawak’s efforts to become a leader in the low carbon economy in the region.
KLCH was officially launched in November 2024 during the SGR Conference.
The strategic partnership is expected to attract quality foreign investment, thus opening up high-income job opportunities in Sarawak.
Petros Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Janin Giris said KLCH is an important step in making Sarawak’s low carbon policy an economic opportunity for the people.
Furthermore, the green hub project also supports Sarawak’s efforts to obtain international expertise to develop an economy that can benefit the country.
Oil company, Petros has now successfully expanded its business by carrying out carbon reduction projects to support long-term growth.
