The United States Takes a 'U-Turn' Decision, Trump Signals Support for Israel!

When the Iran-Israel war was just beginning to emerge, US President Donald Trump was one of the first leaders to try to defuse the situation.

He not only pleaded with Israel not to attack Iran, but was even willing to make a 90-minute phone call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to deter the attack.

After Israel launched an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities on June 13, Trump insisted that the action was not the right move and that the US would not support any such attack.

However, everything changed after Iran decided to withdraw from nuclear negotiations with the US last Sunday.

The decision not only frustrated diplomatic efforts, but also provoked Trump's public anger, prompting a sudden change in the White House's stance.

After receiving a closed-door briefing from General Dan Caine and a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) claiming that Iran was violating its nuclear commitments, Trump began to loosen his stance and gave Israel the 'yellow light' to launch operations with limited support from the US.

June 17, 2025, Trump is no longer a mediator and a spectator.

Uploading to his Truth Social, Trump wrote in a stern tone “IRAN CANNOT HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS” while calling for the evacuation of Tehran’s population, and expressing his desire to travel to the Middle East.

Media reports also revealed that Trump called the National Security Council (NSC) to the Situation Room and was considering signing a formal order to join the war.

Meanwhile, US officials have said that no attack is being launched, but a New York Times report said that Trump is currently studying a proposal to help Israel blow up the underground Fordow nuclear facility, which can only be destroyed by a special US bomb.

Eight Senators are now proposing a bill to block American involvement.

But the reality is clear that what started as negotiations has now turned into a series of Trump tantrums that could drag the world to the brink of full-scale war.
