The Iranian government will not stop its nuclear program and uranium enrichment activities, despite the damage to the related plant from the US airstrike last month.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed that activities to enhance uranium content had to be temporarily halted due to the severe damage suffered.
Araghchi also stressed that any future nuclear agreement must include the right to continue uranium enrichment.
Furthermore, when asked about the status of enriched uranium material after the attack, Araghchi only replied that he had not yet received any detailed information.
He also expressed his willingness to take any confidence-building measures to prove that Iran's nuclear program is peaceful, provided that US economic sanctions are lifted.
The commitment was stated during an interview on Fox News' 'Special Report with Bret Baier'.
