TUESDAY (August 5, 2025)

US Services PMI ISM Survey (10.00 PM) – After the market examined the decline in the manufacturing sector figures for the US, the outlook for the services sector will be watched this week. The forecast is that the figure above the 50 mark will continue to increase.


WEDNESDAY (August 6, 2025)

New Zealand Employment Data (6.45 AM) – The market expects a decline in the New Zealand employment report reading for June. Job growth is expected to contract while the unemployment rate is at risk of rising.


THURSDAY (7 August 2025)

BOE Policy Meeting (7.00 PM) – The Bank of England is expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points from 4.25% to 4.00%, continuing its easing policy. MPC members’ votes will also be watched to gauge the majority’s preference for setting interest rates.


FRIDAY (8 August 2025)

Canada Employment Data (8.30 PM) – The jobs report will be the focus of the final session of the week. Job gains are expected to slow to around 15,300 in July after a surge of 83,100 in the previous month. The unemployment rate is expected to rise from 6.9% to 7.0%.
