Market sentiment was considered risky at the beginning of the week with US President Donald Trump's repeated tariff warning against China.

The tariff warning was observed at Trump's meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in trade talks between the two countries.

Trump described himself as a symbol of peace for various countries and also hoped that South Korea would voluntarily cede sovereign land to the US.

He also emphasized the importance of US crude oil products to Korea, in addition to meeting high demand from China and India.

Trump expressed interest in buying South Korean ships, with the country also being the largest buyer of military equipment from the US.

During the discussion, Trump managed to interject about Chinese tariffs with a warning that he would impose tariffs as high as 200% on certain Chinese goods if they did not provide their magnets.

Meanwhile, regarding the issue of the war conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Trump did not discuss further about the guarantee of a settlement.

Aid funds are said to no longer be channeled to Ukraine and he expressed his desire to end the war.
