The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loan repayment exemption incentive policy for first-class bachelor's degree graduates remains in effect and has never been withdrawn.
PTPTN Chairman, Datuk Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim announced that the exemption incentive is given to PTPTN borrowers who graduate from 2019.
According to her, the incentive is also given to graduates who obtain a first-class bachelor's degree from a recognized institution of higher learning regardless of economic background, race or religion.
Norliza also explained that eligible graduates can apply for a repayment exemption online via the myPTPTN web application.
In addition, PTPTN urges all parties not to politicize education issues and respect existing policies that directly benefit excellent graduates.
PTPTN's main focus is to ensure that education remains a field for human development, not political polemics.
As an agency under the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), PTPTN remains committed to implementing incentive applications transparently, efficiently and fairly to safeguard the welfare of borrowers and support the country's higher education aspirations.
