Malaysia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc, the national airline of Morocco, have signed a strategic codeshare agreement aimed at providing better travel convenience and expanding reach between the continents of Africa, Europe and Asia.

As part of the agreement, Malaysia Airlines will add the ‘MH’ code to Royal Air Maroc-operated flights from Casablanca (CMN) to Doha (DOH), London (LHR), and Paris (CDG).

Meanwhile, Royal Air Maroc will use the ‘AT’ code on flights operated by Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Doha (DOH), London (LHR), and Paris (CDG).

Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group, said, “This collaboration not only enhances our presence in this rapidly growing region, but also reinforces our commitment to providing a seamless travel experience with a Malaysian-friendly welcome.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc, said, “This strategic partnership with Malaysia Airlines is an important step in the expansion of our international network and strengthens our position as a key bridge between Africa, Europe and Asia.”

“This partnership reflects our commitment to strengthening our global presence and meeting the growing expectations of our customers.”
