The governments of France, Germany and the United Kingdom (UK) have stressed that they are ready to defend their interests and those of their allies in the Middle East.

The three countries have stated that they will take defensive action against Iran if necessary.

The world leaders were shocked by the missile attacks launched by Iran against countries in the Middle East, including countries not involved in the military operations of the United States (US) and Israel.

In a statement, they called on Iran to immediately stop the attacks because they risk threatening the safety of civilians throughout the region.

The three countries will take defensive measures to defend their interests and allies in the Middle East to destroy Iran's ability to launch drones and missiles.

So far, Iran has launched attacks on US assets in other Middle East countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Bahrain, Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Kuwait.

At the same time, a German military spokesman reported that Iran had attacked a multinational military base near Arbil in northern Iraq and a military camp in eastern Jordan.

However, no civilians were injured or killed in the incident.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared the assassination of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a declaration of war on Muslims.

He also considered it a legitimate right to take revenge on the perpetrators of the historic crime.

Following Khamenei's death, Iran announced a 40-day mourning period and seven days of public holidays for the departure of the influential leader.
