The US stock market rose in early trading on Wednesday after Washington was reported to be continuing negotiations with Iran to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

In terms of the performance of the main indices, the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.8%, while the S&P 500 and Dow Jones each rose about 0.7%.

President Donald Trump said that Iran had shown signs of peace in negotiations on energy supplies in the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, the New York Times reported that the US had submitted a 15-point proposal to Iran as a way to resolve the conflict.

This situation increased market sentiment despite Trump ordering the deployment of about 2,000 troops to the region.

Investors' attention is now shifting to US export and import price data as well as earnings reports from major companies such as Chewy and Paychex, which are due to be published on Wednesday.
