“Back to the Stone Age” – Trump Wants to Bomb Iran to the Ground!

US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, stating that the country is at risk of being “bombed back to the Stone Age” in the near future.

The statement was followed by US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who reinforced the same rhetoric through a brief statement on social media platforms.

The term “stone age” refers to a large-scale attack capable of completely destroying modern infrastructure, thus crippling the basic capabilities of a country.

This threat is not new, but rather reflects Washington’s long-standing approach of frequently using military pressure in geopolitical conflicts and in many cases, carrying out such threats.

Donald Trump Wants to Destroy Iran

In an official speech, Trump stressed that a major attack on Iran could potentially occur within two to three weeks, although negotiations are still ongoing.

The current conflict began on February 28 when the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran, which Tehran then retaliated by targeting Israel and several Gulf countries.

More than 2,000 Iranians have been reported killed so far, with thousands of public facilities such as hospitals, schools, universities and pharmaceutical factories also affected by the attacks.

Global security experts from the University of Oxford have stated that any attack targeting public infrastructure has the potential to violate international law.

Modern infrastructure such as energy, telecommunications, public industry as well as educational and medical facilities are considered protected public assets in armed conflict.
